Swapping the Law for Laughs – Mark Appleyard and Mark Beresford

funnybusPresident of Doncaster Law Society Mark Appleyard and Mark Beresford Senior Partner of Taylor Bracewell are taking to the Stage for Charity and becoming Comedians for one night only .

‘Funny Business’ is being organised by the charity in association with Doncaster Chamber of Commerce and will bring leading Doncaster business people together for what promises to be a first of its kind, hilarious challenge for them all.

Each participant will be working with distinctive policeman turned comic, Alfie Moore, who has written and performed his own one-man show as well as supported well known comedians such as Sarah Millican, Russell Kane and Milton Jones.  They will each prepare a 10 minute stand-up comedy routine to be performed at a show – expected to be attended by around 400 people – at Doncaster Racecourse on Thursday 24th October.

The Mark’s will be joined by other well-known senior Doncaster business people  Colin Gaffney, (The Natural Learning Company),  Richard Walsh (Pennine Stone), Paul Fearn (Forge Trade UK Ltd) Arnie Shelley (WPA), Garry Thickett (Garry Thickett Accountants) and Mick Stamp (1st Security Solutions).
