Closure of SIF looms exposing current current and retired members
The Solicitors Indemnity Fund is due to close later this year and the Law Society is currently engaed in strong representations to the SRA that this should be stopped as it will mean both retired memebrs and current solicitors could face the prospect on claims which will not have any insurance protection putting their retirement and assets at significant risk
